Crosses and Tees are designed to hold pressure and are employed to manage and steer the flow of fluids. Crosses and tees are commonly found as parts of frac trees, manifolds, and christmas trees. Common configurations are 3-way and 4-way.
The studded tee provides a secure and stable platform for attaching additional equipment to the wellhead assembly. By using threaded connections with nuts and bolts, various components can be easily and securely installed or removed from the wellhead as needed for maintenance, repairs, or modifications.
Similar to a studded tee, a studded cross provides a stable and secure platform for connecting various parts of the wellhead assembly. It allows for the installation of multiple components in different directions, facilitating the construction of complex wellhead configurations.
